Welcome to Artizta

Interview with local newspaper Huisaanhuis:

This week I visited Nick van Ommeren, proud owner and founder of the Artizta Experience store in Enschede. Nick explains how this journey began and how he wants to use Artizta to make people listen and think more actively about music.

Artizta Experience Store

The concept of the Artizta Experience Store originated from the need to let people listen to music the way the artist intended it. That's why Artizta started with a small listening environment in the office, which was immediately well received.

After a few trade shows, Nick noticed that the listening environment worked best. "You can present an audio product beautifully online, but only when you hear it yourself do you know what it can do. With Artizta, we wanted to create a place where everyone can experience our products and listen to music."

Personal listening experience

At Artizta, everything revolves around tranquility, experience, and personal attention. Instead of a standard store concept, they deliberately choose a 1-on-1 shopping experience, where visitors truly get the time to discover the products. You can easily schedule a listening session via the website (on the Experience Store page).

"During a listening session, we play your favorite music and prepare coffee. We take the time to explain everything calmly, but it's mainly about listening in peace and truly experiencing the music."

"A lot of thought has also gone into the interior design. The space is set up so that visitors can fully focus on the music and the product. People can listen here in peace, without others watching. It is important for us to establish a brand and let people experience what we have created," says Nick.

Ideal location

Nick deliberately chose Enschede, because the location Van Heekplein 110 was a logical and pleasant place for him to receive visitors.

"I grew up in Enschede and I feel at home here. It's a beautiful city center and we know the area well. It was a logical choice to showcase our brand here," says Nick.
